![]() Now I’m at a loss as to what the heck is causing this problem. They are in there and positioned correctly. Last night I disassembled to find out that my assumption of not having the ring included in the grease seal that was one the car was false. ![]() I picked up genuine Mercedes grease seals which DO have the metal ring in them. At that point I made an assumption that the Beck/Arnley parts I used as replacements didn’t have the coiled metal ring in the grease seal that the speed sensor reads off of (with a magnet for those who don’t know). Turned car on and no messages (other than the low brake pressure warning message from having to press the pads back into the caliper so they would clear the rotor when I removed the caliper).
